We often think and feel that there is more to life than what we are doing and who we are being.
You want to be fulfilled, happy and experience inner peace and fulfilment.
A common question you may ask yourself
“What is My Life Purpose?”
“What is my Passion?”
We are all born with a unique life purpose.
For some of us our purpose and passion in life is clear, and has been since our childhood.
Some of us are born with a gift to paint or draw,
play an instrument, learn a language, act, dance,
great with money and finance.
It doesn’t mean that if you are not naturally talented in these areas, but are passionate,
you cannot pursue your passion; it may just take a little bit more effort.
Looking back at my childhood, when I was asked,
“What do I want to do when I grow up?”
I replied,
“I want to help people”
“I want to become a nurse to make my grandmother better”.
Nursing was not my chosen career path.
Life Coaching is the path I chose.
With Life Coaching, I found a different way in helping people.
Helping people overcome obstacles, challenges, fear, help them become aware of their thoughts, the continuous chatter in their mind.
Overcome limiting beliefs.
Help them discover their uniqueness.
“Helping People Discover Their Full Potential.”
Identifying and acknowledging your purpose
is the most important action to take.
You might ask yourself; “How do I do that?”
Are you waiting to have your ducks in a row?
Waiting for things to be well prepared or well organised for something that is going to happen?
Your purpose is not something you make up.
It is something that is there inside you.
You have to make it happen!
It is up to you to discover what you love to do,
want to do, and gives meaning to each waking moment of your life.
Below are a few simple tips to help you discover passion and purpose.
Sit down; somewhere you will not be disturbed.
Have a notepad and pen and answer the following questions honestly,
listen to your heart.
Write down the first thought that comes to mind and stirs up a positive emotion.
Don’t think too much. Don’t try and rationalise.
Just write, go with the feeling.
There is no right or wrong.
1.What do you love to do? Explore.
2.What comes easily to you, without much effort?
3.What makes you excited and alive when you do it or think about it?
4.What qualities do you express that others comment about? (What do others see about yourself that you don’t?)
5.Listen to your inner voice. It is there to guide you.
This exercise may take time.
Keep going till you find what it is that brings you to life.
Ask yourself more questions.
Dig deep inside of you.
With every thought, every excitement you are creating a picture a vision, your goal,
your dream.
Once you are clear about what you want ,
you may feel overwhelmed about
how you will make it happen.
Create a plan of action that will move you towards your vision.
Once you are committed, the “HOW” will find it’s way to you.
You will discover that the things that bring you joy, and give meaning to your life, are the things
that will direct you to your passion.
Stay on course. Stay on your path.
It is your life, your life’s purpose.
Wishing you a happy and fulfilled life.
A life that is waiting for you to explore and discover.
