It’s March, and the weather is slowly changing. Autumn is becoming more noticeable. The cooler mornings and the sun rising a little later.
Autumn brings with it it’s own gifts, holding different meanings for each of us.
Autumn and the month of March marks a birthday for me. Each year brings with it many experiences and many lessons.
The meaning I give my birthday is Growth, not getting old. We will all age but we can continue to Grow.
A few days ago, I celebrated a milestone birthday. I find myself reflecting on the past, reminiscing, and thinking about the future. Each thought brings a mix of joy, sadness, and gratitude. I consider what I have achieved, what I haven’t achieved, and what I would like to accomplish.
As the years go by, I realise that it’s not just about hardcore goal achievement for me; it’s more about the meaningful experiences that leave me feeling fulfilled.
It’s about spending time wisely, doing what I want to do, and being around people who share the same values.
What I value most is my overall health. My daily rituals keep me grounded and provide me with deeper insight into my true self. I trust my intuition and pay attention to the vibes I receive. I follow my gut instincts and have confidence that I am being taken care of.
I believe that whatever is meant to be will be. When things don’t go as planned, I look for the lesson or the hidden gift in the situation.
Change is inevitable, with each year comes growth, and growth brings with it unexpected changes we may need to make, we may not like the changes but
resisting, the change is resisting your growth. Accept it and embrace it. Explore the opportunities. It is an exciting time.
Each birthday is a new beginning. A New Year for you to begin all over again. Erase what has not worked for you in the past.
Some tips for you to consider:
-
Make a list of things you want to do. What will make your heart sing?
-
Practice something new, for example a new way of meditating.
-
Learn a new hobby or skill. You are never too old.
-
Take a new route while walking or driving. You never know what you will discover.
-
Meet new people, expand your circle, and share ideas.
-
What is one thing you keep putting off? What are you resisting?
-
Pick one area in your life you want to change and commit.
As I continue my birthday celebrations for the next month, I hope you will discover the true meaning of your birthday.
